A simple TRIM. Those darned half baths.

I try to come up with simple yet creative solutions to daily irritations in my daily home life.  (If anyone has a solution to the most frustrating home problem out there...the curling iron cord getting caught on the bathroom cabinet knob, we need that submitted through comments IMMEDIATELY)!  I feel it's important to TRIM the unnecessary things out of daily life, especially if they are linked to frustration.

I was so tired of the mold that would build in my half bath shower curtain.  You know, the stand up shower that is insanely difficult to shave your legs in?  Unfortunately, we tend to buy full sized shower curtains and liners that are made and meant for a bathtub shower.  By design, these curtains are half the size and therefore when spread out in a standing shower, they collect mold where the air cannot dry the liner.  I don't know about you all, but I HATE to clean the shower...yet WANT a clean shower.  There's few things less ironic about trying to clean yourself in an unclean place.  And let's be honest, if we can't air the shower curtain out because it's wet...using a dozen cleaners will never solve this problem for us.  This leaves us in quite a conundrum, doesn't it?

My solution?  I have cut the liner in half, used half of the shower rings & link 2 curtain holes on each ring.  NOW, my liner will last twice as long because it isn't creating mold AND I have a spare for when I need it next. I have used this solution for about 3 months now and it is BEA-U-TIFUL!  I hope that it's a solution that you can use to TRIM some frustration out of your life too!  Pictures to be attached soon!
